Joel Remmel Trio has more than eight years of experience under its belt by actively performing and recording original music. Jukka Eskola is THE Finnish trumpet player, who is widely considered as one of the key instrumentalists of his generation in Finnish jazz. Recent times have resulted in a collaboration that began last fall when Eskola was featured on two tunes on Joel Remmel Trio’s album “Sharp” (2019 spring). Musical understanding came quickly and led to concert bookings which will come alive in October! This year sees the jazz connoisseurs come together for the ultimate jazz music experience. Jukka Eskola & JRT will travel around Estonia and perform only four concerts.

The music is mainly written by the trio leader Joel Remmel but will also include Jukka Eskola’s catchy tunes. The band is excited to perform together and to see where the music leads to. Like the album name “Sharp” points there will be sharp sounds but also the softer side will not be left out.
