About Coltrane is a tribute to one of the most important influences on the history of jazz, John Coltrane.
The brand new Finnish-Italian quartet About Coltrane will look into the repertoire of the American saxophonist - from Atlantic Records' to Impulse Records' period, the greatest compositions and active years of John Coltrane. The band members all bring their own personal view and taste to the quartet perception of the music of John Coltrane.
The quartet has already performed in a beautiful full house at Tenho, Helsinki and it clearly proved that both the music of John Coltrane and the musicians brought something that people want to hear.
