Oktoobri MuusikaKino filmiks on muusikaline komöödia “Singin’ in the Rain”, mis heidab pilgu 20ndate lõpuaastate Hollywoodile, kus kolm staari peavad kohanema tummfilmi üleminekuga helifilmile. Kuuleb legendide Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds jt osatäitjate esituses armastatud filmimuusika hitte nagu “Make ‘Em Laugh”, “Good Morning” ja muidugi filmi inspireerinud Arthur Freed’i ja Nacio Herb Brown’i kirjutatud laulu “Singin’ in the Rain”.
Klubist baarileti vastast leiab uuenenud kollektsiooni parimast (muusika-) kirjandusest ja lauamängudest, mille saatel veeta aega enne või pärast kinoõhtut.
In the new season, concert free nights at Philly Joe's Jazz Club will be filled with film music. With the lights turned off and screen pulled down, you’ll get the chance to immerse yourself in the classics of the musical film genre in the undergrounds of Freedom Square.
October’s MuusikaKino film is the musical comedy "Singin' in the Rain", which takes a look at Hollywood in the late 20s, where three stars have to adapt to the transition from silent films to “talkies”. You’ll hear beloved movie soundtrack hits like “Make 'Em Laugh,” “Good Morning” and of course, “Singin' in the Rain” - the song written by Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown that inspired the movie - performed by legends Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds, and other cast members.
Opposite the bar you can find an updated collection of the best (musical) literature and board games to enjoy before or after the movie night.
